Ayurveda Wellness: Ayurvedic science for kids
About the instructor:
Megha is an Ayurvedic Practitioner providing services in the Sterling/Ashburn area. Through stories, games, yoga, mindfulness, and hands-on activities, kids will discover how Ayurveda — the “Science of Life” — can support their health, wellness, and love for nature. It will also teach them about balance, resilience, and connection with nature — tools that can serve them for life.
Ayurveda is a traditional Indian medicine focusing on balancing energies of body, mind and soul. It is more of a way of living which emphasizes on eating well, sleep routine, yoga and mindfulness practices.
What kids will learn:
Daily habits for energy, focus, and better sleep
Eating the rainbow: food as medicine
Fun yoga and breathing exercises for calm minds
Herbal wisdom with safe natural remedies
Eco-friendly living and caring for our planet
Mindfulness tools to manage emotions and stress
Program Highlights:
10 interactive sessions (1 hour each)
Engaging worksheets, quizzes, storytelling & group projects
"Healthy Living" trivia game + personal “Wellness Journal” to take home
