Robotics Prep

This program will provide skill building exercises that cover various aspects of FIRST Lego League (FLL) Challenge - such as Designing, Building and Programming Robots

This program will enable students to participate as community teams in Robotics competitions such as FIRST Lego League Challenge.

SHMSPTO will not form and/or sponsor any FIRST Lego League team as part of this program.

Session 1: 

FLL overview / review
Detailed discussions on all 4 sections: Robot design, Robot Game, Core Values, Innovation Project
Help setup tools on laptops

Session 2: 

Robot Design basics
Review coding needed for Lego Robots
Review Core Values

Session 3 - 4: 

Understand and practice controlling robot with coding
Review Core Values

Session 5 - 6: 

Initiate Innovation Project
Practice controlling robot with coding
Review Core Values

Session 7 - 8: 

Have robot complete a mission 
Continue Innovation project
Review Core Values

Session 9 - 10: 

Have robot complete few mission 
Continue Innovation project
Review Core Values

Session 11 - 12: 

Friendly robot competition
Complete and present innovation project
